So two weekends ago, when I was laid up with my sprained ankle and couldn't do anything, I watched the whole 1st season of Kendra On Top On Demand.

Yes, all 14 (or something like that) episodes. Anyone else LOVE On Demand like I do? Love it! And I still love her, so I was all about it. I just saw that season 2 starts in mid-September! Yahoo!! Great. Just what I need. Another show to add to my list.

If you follow me on Instagram, then you have seen that I finally bought Hailey her very own potty over this last weekend and everything is going SO well. I know it's only Friday and it hasn't even been a full week, but we are making HUGE strides in the right direction.  At home AND at school! Yay! I don't want to jinx it, so I'm gonna wait a week or two to do more of a full post about it. Hopefully more to come on this topic next week if everything keeps progressing great!

Another huge decision that we made this last week is to send Hailey to daycare a/k/a school full-time. Starting next week. As in this coming Tuesday after the holiday. Also, she's moving up from the Toddler room to the Pre Pre-School room. Yes, you read that right. The Pre Pre-School room. Somebody hold me. I'm not sure if I'm ready for this. It's all happening way too fast. Everything all at once. Make. It. Stop.

Today is my first State Fair Day. Usually by this time I've gone at least twice. I feel so late to the game, but with my ankle and the heat, I haven't wanted to venture out there yet. But today is the day. I am currently at the fair taking in all my favorites. I'm planning on going on Saturday and maybe Monday, too, depending on when other family/friends decide to go.

And last, but not least, since I have today off and am at the fair, that means I get a 4 day weekend! Holla!!

I love everything Flo Rida and Pitbull put out. So this is perfect. And once again, I first heard it in my Zumba class and had to do some investigating.

DJ Avicii's real name is Tim. He is from Sweden and best known for his house music. He is the one that is mixing the music. The vocals on this song are Aloe Blacc and there is work on this song from Incubus' Mike Einziger. I loved Incubus back in the day. Avicii's new album, True, is set to be released in September and I'm so excited!

Not too much going on in my life other than my stupid ankle. If you follow me on Instagram, you know that last Saturday was NOT a fun day. More on that one later. It's been inhibiting me in all aspects of my life, including getting anything done on this blog, much less in real life. I hate it. It pretty much sucks, but what can you do. Nothing. I just gotta roll with punches.





Yay for new Britney! Today is actually 24 days, but because I did this post yesterday, it says 25.





I love these new royal family pictures. I love how they are just chillin outside with their babe and their pups and it's not so formal. They look like actual real people.





Did you hear the other great news? The Obama's got another new pup? Bo and Sunny. I can't stand the cuteness.





And lastly cause I can't do a post lately with-out mentioning it, the MN State Fair is in full swing as of yesterday. I found their instagram and love seeing all the pictures.

It's all ladies this week.

I'm actually really loving Lady Gaga's new song. I know I am probably in the minority with this one, but I have liked all her music so far that she's put out. This is the "Official Lyric Video."

Another one of my favorite artists came out with her latest this last week, too, but I'm actually quite disappointed in it. I LOVED LOVED LOVED "Wide Awake," so I'm hoping the rest of her album to follow is A LOT better than this song.

Another favorite lady of mine has this new one out and it's starting to really grow on me the more I listen to it. She is probably one of the best people I've seen live and in my eyes can really do no wrong. I'm so happy that she is happy and thriving.

Linking up with Darci today! Just a few tidbits for this week.



I'm so excited that Wayne and I are FINALLY meeting with United Credit Consultants on Monday morning. We've been thinking about this for awhile now and just have been putting it off, but we are getting really serious about trying to buy a house within the next year and we desperately need help with getting our credit cleaned up and back on track. I haven't talked about this all too much. Mostly because it's just plain embarrassing, but hey that's life, right? We were so not responsible with money and credit in our 20's and have made a commitment to do better in our 30's. We want to try for baby #2 sooner, rather than later, but I want to get our credit cleaned up and be farther along in the house buying process. So yay for taking first steps.



I finally got the Magic Bullet today in the mail I ordered last week. It was like Christmas at work when it arrived this morning. I've heard NOTHING but GREAT things about it and am excited to start using it.





I got my nails done and am loving this "Rose Bud" by CND Shellac. I have been keeping french on my toes. I only get a pedi about once a month cause I do gel polish and it seems to stay great for that long. I get my nails done though usually twice a month and that way whatever color I get on my nails will just mesh with my toes.





I am so excited for this weekend!



 It's going to be busy, but fun. Tonight, after work, I am heading to an ex-co-workers baby shower with a few other ex-coworkers and one current one. It's a Baby -Q. I always love seeing and catching up with these ladies and a gent.

Saturday AM, I plan on going to work out. My sisters are spending the weekend at our house, so I have built in babysitters! Yay!! I plan on having an afternoon date with the Hubby. We're thinking Crave and maybe a movie. We have a GC that we need to use to Crave. Then I might be going to Babe's tomorrow night with friends again...for the 2nd Saturday in a row.

Sunday AM, we are heading to the MOA to meet Karmin and then headed to the MN Zoo to see The Wanted and Carly Rae Jepsen. Let's hear it for great music and cute boy bands!







Lastly, I've been eyeing this watch from Kate Spade. My silver one broke, so I am in the hunt for a replacment, although with how expensive it is, it might have to wait until our Anniversary in November. I need a reason to actually spend that much moola. Gah!

I was SO shocked yesterday via twitter to see this:

If you watched Bachelorette and Bachelor Pad, you know who I am talking about. If you don't then you can just skip is one. I loved her and thought she seemed so sweet and put together. Just goes to show you that even the most put together people, have their own struggles. RIP Gia

I used to DVR The View everyday and if I liked the guest I would watch it, if I didn't then I would delete it. I currently do this with Ellen and Jimmy Fallon everyday (must be a comedy thing). Somewhere along the line I stopped recording it. I must have not liked the hosts or something. But now, with the addition of Jenny McCarthy, I think I'm going to have to start again. While I don't agree with her views on vaccinations, I do respect her opinion and still love her to pieces and I think she is just so real and honest. It will be interesting to see her more serious side and what she brings to the show.



THREE

And since the first 2 were TV related, I just decided to go continue with it. Yesterday, Kate, so graciously tweeted out this Fall TV Premier schedule for 2013 with premiere dates of not only existing shows, but in bold are brand NEW shows. It's for September and October and did I mention it is PRINTABLE?! Woohoo!! I love me some TV! Thanks Kate!

A few months ago my Husband started working with a country station down in AZ (WILD 97.1), where he voice tracks the night show from MN. Since then he says country music has started to grow on him a little. He would mention songs and artists here or there, but he's never actually bought anything. He's always been a fan of Toby Keith since he was little, but that's about it.

So that brings us to two weekends ago, on our way to my family reunion. He tells me he bought some new tunes.



So then, after listening to nothing but that the whole day to and from the reunion, I decided I would embrace the country too and put it on my iPod. Well, I have been completely obsessed with this song:

Thanks Hubby for getting me semi-hooked on country music. I could see this snowballing, too as one of my good friends, Katie, LOVES country music. Over the weekend she brought her laptop over and dumped a bunch of country music on my computer for me to go through and listen to. Needless to say she's loving it and is 100% enabling me! THANKS KATIE!

I can't believe I haven't done one of these for over a year. Oofta! I'm going to try and do this fun little thing more often, cause it is such a nice little re-cap.

Currently Reading: 50 Shades of Grey (Yes I'm still reading book 1). I don't get that much reading in, but I'm really trying lately. My goal is a minimum of 10 pages before bed. I would like to get through all 3 books eventually. Haha.



Currently Eating: Chinese food for lunch at work. Just rice and noodles. Still trying to keep it somewhat light from being sick this week.

Currently Purchased: I actually just bought this off of Amazon today. I've been wanting one for awhile now and really want to start doing morning smoothies and protein shakes in it. I won't get it for another week, but I'm excited!



Currently Listening to: country music as of late. You can blame my Husband for that. Thanks Wayne. More specifically I've been listening to K102 at work trying to get to know the artists and songs. I've been listening on my computer through iHeartRadio. The station doesn't come in so well on my regular radio. I still listen to my hubs though at night from 6-Midnight on KDWB no matter what.

Currently Watching: Bachelorette just finished up this week so that leaves a bit of a void, but I am loving Mistresses, So You Think You Can Dance, Guiliana & Bill, True Blood, Keeping up with the Kardashians and The Challenge on MTV. These shows will keep me going through the rest of summer and then I can gear up for fall TV!



Currently on my Nails: French. Boring I know, but sometimes you just need a break from color.

Currently Excited: that today is Friday and we don't have a super busy weekend ahead! I'd like to get to the gym tomorrow if I feel good enough. I plan on going out with friends tomorrow night and then a birthday brunch on Sunday at my MIL's. Not too shabby.

Currently Wearing: Jeans and a tank top...casual Friday, which we don't get to do very often.

Currently Nervous: About how I've been feeling lately. Being sick and not sure what's going on with my body. And no, I am not pregnant. As my MIL asked me..."Have you peed on a stick lately?" Yes, I have and no I am not.

Currently Wanting: A tropical vacation.



Currently Looking ahead to: The MN State Fair...one of my favorite times of the year. Less than 2 weeks people!!

Currently Enjoying: My easy days at work. It's been a nice balance lately.

1. Anyone else as excited as I was that Desiree picked Chris and didn't end up with Brooks? Holla! Just goes to show me that I can't believe everything I read (Reality Steve). I LOVED everything about the finale, the proposal AND After the Rose show.

I picked him early on and am so happy she picked him and they are still together. Now will it last, is the real question? Only time will tell.



2. I am so excited for football season to start, specifically the NFL. I'm not much of a college football gal. Also, my Husband is joining the KFAN team for Vikings post-game coverage!! Yay!



He has been down at training camp in Mankato a few days this week with Paul Allen.

Also, have you seen this commercial on TV?



Just another reason why I love the Manning brothers.

3. I needed a new eye lash curler badly last week. Wayne was stopping at Walgreens to pick up some milk, so I asked him if he would pick me up one. He said yes, of course, cause he's sweet like that. The only guideline I gave him was Revlon, cause I've always had good luck with those and I didn't want to be too specific. Well, he said he splurged and got me the more expensive one.



At first I was like, what? Is this thing really going to work, or does it just look pretty? It's pink and has rhinestones. But you guys?! It's so fantastic!!I think this is the best one I've ever had!!! Absolutely love it!

Today was Mother's Day. It was pretty low-key. We went to my parents house and had a nice lunch. MY Mom ended up going to my Gramdma's (her Mom's) house, so my Dad grilled for us and we just hung out for a bit. It was delish.

I got my hair done today. I splurged. I went to Rocco Altobelli's downtown MPLS. In other words read: $$$. I did spend WAY too much and will find a cheaper alternative, but it was a slight emergency. I NEEDED it. My hair was SO bad. I don't know why I let it get that bad, but I do. Not only did I get it cut, but I also got high/low lights put in. This was the first time in a LONG time that A) I got my hair colored of some sort (other than a box at home) and more importantly B) was in an actual salon other than Fantastic Sams or Great Clips. Yes, that's how I roll. Cheap, cheap and more cheap.

I had printed off a picture for Olly to sign for Hailey from when he was here back in January in the Skyroom. Remember when she climbed up on stage with him? Yea, well he remembered her and signed it and now it's in a frame in her room.




I invited my cousin, Nicole, to come along with me and hang out.

Of course me and my ladies, Katie and Falen, were there.



I got to meet Nelly this year.



And of course, me and my love.



This year was one of the best years yet!

Today I met up with some of my MN Blogger peeps at the new See's Candies that was opening in the Southdale Mall. Carolyn and Kelly put this event together. I brought Hailey with. I took this picture of Hailey and the group picture from Carolyn's blog. I was so busy with Hailey, that I didn't have any time to really enjoy myself, much less take pictures of anything.



We got to try anything we wanted, they told us some history about the company, we got to go behind the counter and practice packaging AND they sent us home with a bag full of goodies. It was so fun to actually meet a lot of them in person for the first time, although I didn't get to talk to them because of course Hailey had me running after her the whole time.



Oh well. There will always be more blogger meet-ups, right?

P.S. I feel like 2013 is flying by. Anyone else?

Happy 32nd Birthday to the love of my life. After 10 years of celebrating birthdays with you, they just don't ever get old (pun intended). Haha. No, but seriously, I love you more and more as each one passes and even though we won't be together a whole lot today, just know I am thinking of you ALWAYS.



I am so lucky to have you as my Husband and so glad that you picked me to share this life with. Everyone knows I'm head over heels for you. You are so thoughtful of me, my time and my efforts, while unselfishly you give all your time to working and providing for our little family. You work so hard for us and I appreciate that more than you know. More than words or actions can show you.



I know I say this all the time, but you are seriously THEE BEST DADDY EVER!! I could not have dreamt a more perfect little family for me and God only knows how thankful and blessed I am.

We are so lucky to have you and call you OURS!

I love you with all of my heart!! Here is to another 10+ years of birthdays together!!
