It was my sister Amie's 14th Birthday. I went over to my parents house for dinner after work. Wayne had to work that evening, so he couldn't make it. My Mom made spaghetti and then Amie opened up her gifts. She loves to read, so my parents got her a Nook. Both my brother and I have one, so she has wanted one for awhile. I love that she is 14 and so amped to read. After chatting and teaching her a little about her Nook, we had cupcakes and ice cream.

Photobucket

Since all 4 of us kids were there and that doesn't always happen, we always like to try and get a good picture.

It's us 4 kids + mini me at 26 weeks.

I met my friend Laura for dinner at Champps after work. I hadn't seen her since she had Ben at the hospital. That was in February. We had tons to catch up on. For me it was mostly baby and house talk. For her it was mostly baby and wedding talk. We met up at about 6pm and didn't leave the restaurant until 10pm. 4 HOURS OF STRAIGHT TALKING! We could have definitely stayed later, but decided against it. It was so great to see her and just talk. There is nothing like having such a great friend that you have so much in common with that you can talk for 4 hours and could still keep on going.

- Friday morning I went into work late because I had my glucose tolerance test; I didn't hear anything back that day, which I took as a good sign. Not so much, they called me Monday afternoon and told me my levels are "slightly" elevated. I was at 143 and they like to see 135 or below. So Dr. E is ordering the 3 hour glucose test. Not looking forward to it, but I am going to do whatever I have to in order for this baby to be ok. I'm scheduled to go in this coming Monday, 4/18.

- I stopped at Motherhood Maternity on my way home from work and bought my first pair of maternity jeans. I thought it was about time and being as I was going out for my birthday the next night and I REALLY needed them.

- After I got home I continued my Friday night ritual of sitting on the couch watching Season 2 of Brothers & Sisters via Netflix.

- Today was my birthday.

- I got up and helped Grams take her two cockers to the Vet.

- Got home and completed my cleaning for the week.

- Took a shower and packed my overnight bag. Met Wayne at Babies R' Us to finish registering for Hailey. He gave me my diamond earrings for my birthday. We had picked them out in February and put them on layaway. I wasn't expecting them until Mother's Day. We then had dinner with my family.

- We met a few of my friends and family members at Babe's Music Bar in Lakeville. Wayne is there every Saturday night for his appearance.

Here is the group for the night: Beth, Joni, Wayne, Jenny, Dan, Al, Nicole, Dad, Me and Mom

Wayne surprised me with a cake and then proceeded to have the whole bar sing Happy Birthday to me.

And finally me with my love.

- Wayne's appearance is done at midnight, but we didn't leave until about 12:30am, didn't get back to the parents house until after 1am, which means I didn't get to bed until 1:30am. It was a long night and I even got on the dance floor for a couple songs.

Sunday, April 10, 2011

- I woke up at 10am feeling hungover, which is funny since I didn't have any alcohol. I think I was just so sore, achy and tired. I really overdid it and stayed up WAY passed my bedtime.

- After lunch with the family Wayne and I headed home and each took a much needed nap. We ate dinner and then went on a DQ run. We each ended the night watching our respective TV shows...Brothers & Sisters was a new 2 hour episode.

Great week overall and I had such a great birthday!

HOW BIG IS BABY?

Baby's now the size of an eggplant!

Photobucket
I have had more leg cramps than normal, most of them at night when my legs are not moving. I don't think it happens during the day, because I am moving around.

I am excited to experience her hiccups. She has been so active this week, really moving and wiggling around. The other night Wayne pushed on the side of my belly and she punched him. He freaked out and said, "that was her." I responded with,"Yes, honey. She is really in there." It was super cute and hilarious all at the same time. I have to remember that I can feel her move all day long and it's "normal" to me. He doesn't get to experience that part of it.

I have also had a pretty constant back ache lately. My lower left side aches more than anything and sometimes I feel like my left leg is going to give out. Sometimes I have to walk really slowly to get anywhere, which for me is hard because I have always been a fast walker.

I have my glucose test tomorrow morning. I'm hoping everything turns out ok with that and I don't have to do the 3 hour test. After tomorrow's appointment we are going to try and switch clinics. We'll see how that goes!
I can't believe this is the last week of the 2nd trimester. I feel like time is just flying by. I'm trying to stay positive heading into the 3rd trimester as I know it is going to be probably the most difficult out.

I'm Loving the new Britney Spears album Femme Fatale.

Photobucket

I've had it on repeat since last Thursday evening when Wayne surprised me with it. He knows my weaknesses. This is her latest single "Till the World Ends" and the video that was just released today!

She's still got it!

I'm Loving that spring is FINALLY here...I think...I hope. You never know when you live in Minnesota. If you click on the link it shows that we will be in the 60's this weekend! AAhhh! Seeing the sun again is AWESOME!

I'm Loving that it's my birthday on Saturday and I get to see a few of my friends and family.  We are keeping it low key this year with being 27 weeks preggo and meeting for apps/drinks/water at a local restaurant.

Photobucket

I'm Loving all the new blogs I am discovering and exploring. It's so fun!

I'm Loving that I have better than 20/20 vision. I had Lasik done last January and just had my 1 year check-up this morning (since all the after surgery appointments) and my eyes are doing so great! It definitely is the gift that keeps on giving.

What are you loving? Go over to Jamie's Blog to link up!

Go link up with C Mae and show us your favorite picture of your furbaby or in my case furbabies!

This is my favorite picture of me and my pups. It was shortly after we rescued Tony and Moo Moo in 2008, when they were two years old. I think it's the only one actually that has all four of them AND me.

Love them so much!

- I left work in a good mood;

- I had to make a pit-stop at Walmart to pick up a few groceries/snacks for the weekend;

- I got home and ate dinner with Wayne (which consisted of a bowl of cereal); I've been obsessed with Berry Kix this past week;

- He then left for work for the weekend and I sat on the couch for the remainder of the night and finished season 1 and started season 2 of Brothers & Sisters on Netflix;

    Saturday, April 2, 2011

    - It was Green Grandma's 71st birthday, so we met her sister and brother-in-law (Kristi & Craig) for lunch at Bistro 11; the Horton family also decided to join us; I had the BBQ Chicken pizza, but it was cooked in a brick oven, so it was extra tasty; The food was great, just as was the conversation;

    Photobucket

    - After a lengthy lunch, we stopped by the assisted living place to visit with Barbara; Gramma tries to visit a few times a week, but I hadn't been there in awhile, so she got to see my belly bump for the first time since I've really popped out;

    - We then stopped at Dairy Queen on our way home for a treat; ;)

    - I completed my weekly cleaning in the late afternoon/early evening; It takes me a little longer than usual as I have to take several breaks in between;

    - We watched "Everybody's Fine" that night; It was a little slow, but overall a pretty decent movie with a touching message at the end;
      Photobucket

      Sunday, April 3, 2011

      - We had made plans earlier in the week for the family to meet at Broadway Pizza - Robbinsdale for Gram's birthday;

      - On our way there the two of us stopped at a local consignment shop to look around; I scored a few maternity items; 2 shirts and a pair of jean capri's for $26.00; I couldn't pass it up;

      - We then met up for lunch/cupcakes with everyone; again great food and conversation;

      - We also found out that Wayne's cousin Evan and his wife, Rachel, are expecting their first child this October! This is the four of us at their wedding this past October 2010:

      Photobucket

      We are so excited that Hailey will have a new cousin and someone else to play with at family events. They will only be about 4 months apart, so it will be so fun watching them grow up together!

      Congrats again Rachel & Evan!

      - On our way home we stopped at the same consignment shop, but a different location and I scored on a couple MORE maternity items; a shirt and a dress for $15.00; AGAIN, couldn't pass it up;

      - Wayne and I had plans to watch the WWE Wrestlemania PPV last night; I am not into it as much as Wayne is, but I like to keep up-to-date on what's happening; there were several reasons why I really wanted to watch this particular PPV;

      First off, my girl Snookie from the Jersey Shore was in a match and has been making a celebrity appearance the last few weeks, so it was a must watch for me;
        Photobucket

        She won her match and is declared WWE's Diva of the Day today. LOL!

        - Another reason was that the Legion of Doom was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year.

        Photobucket

        I realize you might not know or care why this is so important to Wayne, but he actually knows Animal from Legion of Doom (far right). Click on this LINK to read more about their career if you're interested. In short, they were and still are the best tag team in the history of wrestling. Animal lives in the Twin Cities with his family and Wayne has kept in touch with him over the years.

        At the beginning of 2011, Wayne and his friend Adam started a pro wrestling radio show called Extreme Pro Wrestling Radio. You can listen to all the podcasts on KFAN HERE.  Animal is their "guest host." It was so cool to watch him stand up there on stage with the other HOF inductees. Wayne is so proud to call him his friend.

        It was the PERFECT way to end the crazy weekend...on the couch with my love and pups!

        I saw this on a couple different blogs I follow and decided to do it, too. I'm sure after this baby is born several of these will definitely change as priorities change, but for right now it is what it is.

        Favorite time of day: When I get home from work, put on my pajamas and can relax in bed. I'm not a fan of the couch right now because I can't spread out and put my feet up comfortably. Our bed is just so much more comfortable and with more room for the pups.

        Favorite season: Hands down summer for the warm weather and being able to be out and about. Being able to wear less clothing and flip flops.

        Photobucket

        Favorite month: December for Christmas and because I always seem to have some time off of work and get to spend time with family.

        Photobucket

        Favorite holiday: Christmas. I'm excited to have our own tree again this year and have a house to decorate!

        Photobucket

        Favorite subject in school: It was always english and social studies.

        Favorite color: I don't really have just one, but I tend to favor pink.

        Favorite song: "Can't Help Falling In Love" by Elvis is our first dance song. It's a classic that will stay with me forever. Both me and my Husband love all Elvis. It's always fun too, when they play it at other weddings and every time that happens Wayne takes me out on the dance floor. Such a great reminder of where we have come from.

        Photobucket

        Favorite movie: I love a lot of movies and different genres. A few of my favorites are: Shawshank Redemption, Sweet Home Alabama, The Last Song, Life as We Know It, The Hangover, Stepbrothers, The Notebook. Just to name a few. I could go on and on.

        Favorite celebrity: Right now it would be:

        Male: Mark Whalberg: I've always loved him in everything he has been in and now that he is behind the scenes more I also like the shows he is creating and producing as well. He is such a great family man also and just seems very respectable and not to mention HOTT.

        Photobucket

        Female: Mila Kunis: I've always loved her from her first days on That 70's Show and I LOVE that she is branching out into more movies and bigger roles. I also like that her and MaCaulay Culkin split. I was not a fan of them together and think she is too good for him. So excited to see where her career leads.

        Photobucket

        Favorite kind of music: I really love everything except for country. It just depends on what mood I'm in at the time.

        Favorite channel: CW Twin Cities right now. Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Vampire Diaries and Nikita are all on that channel.

        Favorite TV show: Since I watch way too much tv I have a lot of must watch shows. See above as well as Brothers & Sisters, Bachelor/ette, Bachelor Pad, Parenthood, One Born Every Minute, Real World & Challenges, Jersey Shore.

        Favorite thing to do: curl up in bed with our pups and watch tv/movies.

        Favorite place in the world: my bed...it's just so darn comfy

        Favorite hobby: blogging, scrapbooking, reading, watching tv and movies

        Favorite kind of animal: dog...hence the reason why I have 4

        Favorite place to live: I lived in LaCrosse, WI for just under a year, but other than that I have only lived in Minnesota, so I don't really have anything to compare it to. I'm a true mid-western girl. It is where we both are from and all our family lives here as well, so that is tough to beat.

        Favorite place to vacation: Florida is the only place I have been where it is warm and I can get a tan, so until I go anywhere else, it will be that.

        Favorite restaurant: Big Bowl

        Photobucket

        Favorite food: Pizza. If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be that.

        Favorite dessert: Chocolate molten lava cake with vanilla ice cream

        Photobucket

        Favorite snack: Chips, I know they are bad for me, but I love to munch on them. I try and at least pace myself.

        Favorite thing to cook: Not much of a cooker/baker, but I'm hoping that will change in the next few months when we move into our new home. A couple things I do like to make are BBQ Chicken Quesidilla's, spaghetti or brownies.

        Favorite drink: water or lemonade (bonus if it's strawberry or raspberry)

        Favorite chore: vacuuming

        Favorite makeup: Bare Escentuals....if you haven't tried it you must!

        Favorite hair products: Not a huge hair product user as I have very fine hair and it tends to make it greasy and heavy, but I like the Aussie Shampoos:
        Photobucket

        I use Chi Iron Guard when I straighten my hair:

        Photobucket

        and Got2B Smooth Operator Smoothing Lustre Lotion (I couldn't find a very good picture of it).

        Favorite lotion: I like the smell of Bath & Body Works Sweat Pea.
        Photobucket
        Favorite perfume: Juicy Couture

        Photobucket

        Favorite blogger: There is no way I could choose just one!

        Favorite thing to blog about: Anything and everything as you can see!

        Favorite books: "Girly" books and I tend to like "teen" books as well. Anything by Nicholas Sparks, Emily Giffin or Jennifer Weiner. I also love the Hunger Games series and Twilight series.

        Favorite thing to wear: Other than being able to stay in PJ's all day, it would be flip flops in the summer.

        Favorite kind of day: One where I can sleep in, stay in my PJ's all day, watch a movie or several or tv shows while cuddling on the couch (preferably my bed) with my pups, eat something really good for dinner, a long, hot shower, then bed!

        Favorite memory: My wedding day

        Favorite Sports Team: Twins & Vikings

        Favorite Guilty Pleasure: Stupid reality TV like Jersey Shore

        UPDATE:
        I definitely have noticed how round my tummy has gotten more round and Wayne has commented that I now have a "pregnant" belly. She is also moving a lot more and sometimes I feel like she is going to kick right through my stomach. Wayne felt her for the first time last week. She was being active and so I told him to press his hand (somewhat firmly) on my lower ab. It was almost like she was kicking his hand. His face lit up and he was so excited and wide-eyed. He has since been able to feel her a couple more times that way as well as see my belly actually move.

        I have been short of breath more often. I can no longer walk and talk on my cell phone at the same time. I am usually only talking to Wayne or my Mom at that point and just tell them I need to call them back in a bit.

        I have not had any Braxton Hicks thus far, but my back has sure been taking a beating. Thankfully I have a wonderful Husband that is willing to rub my lower back when I need it. The last few nights I have been pretty much clinging to my body pillow. I'm hoping that can continue to comfort me and help with my back while sleeping.

        I can't believe we only have a couple more weeks until the 3rd Trimester!

        • I went to a Bare Escentuals Girlfriend Party at the MOA a couple weeks ago with Beth. I had been wanting to find out what all the hype was about, so it was a perfect way to see. There were five of us girls and it was so fun. We got to try all the products (even the skincare products, etc.) and the instructor showed us the correct technique on how to apply all the products as well. I ended up buying the Customized Get Started Kit. It may seem a little pricey, but it lasts for a very long time and let me tell you it works wonders for me and my face. I've always had the problem of "my make-up looks great in the morning, but by noon it's gone and I have to keep reapplying if I want to look half-way decent, which I don't usually have that option." Well, with these products you don't have to do that and it's great! The nice thing is if you are not sure about any products or have questions, you can go into the store at anytime and try them and see what looks best for your skin type. They matched the foundation to my skin type, so I know it's the right one and makes me look my best. Love it!
        • We signed up for Netflix again a few weeks ago. Our local Blockbuster closed and so in the little town of Buffalo there is nothing else. We had it a few years ago, but got rid of it (don't remember why). But we decided to sign up again and so far with all the "instant" options there are, we love it. I am almost done with season 1 of Brothers & Sisters (I started watching the series later on and wanted to see it from the beginning). It's so convenient and we can stream it through Wayne's PS3.
        • It was my last day working at the local gym on Saturday. It is my part-time gig, but with being about 6 months pregnant and us moving in May, it was just time to get my Saturdays back and be done. It's such a relief knowing I don't have to go back there and can have my weekends to myself. Well, until Hailey arrives at least. Haha.
        • Yes, you read that right, Wayne and I are moving. We have been looking for a place to rent for a few weeks now and diligently searching craigslist and networking with everyone we know. After weeks of looking online and touring a few places, we finally found a perfect little house that is just right for us given that we have a baby on the way and four pups to include. We are so blessed and EXCITED beyond belief that we are taking this next step for our family. There are so many reasons why this move needs to happen and there are so many great things about the house we found. I'm sure I will be blogging about this transition for months to come!
        • With us moving we are also going to be transferring clinics/hospitals/doctors as well. It will just be too far to continue at our current clinic once we move and so I rather start now then wait until we actually move. It will be a project within the next month as my next appointment is 4/8 for the glucose screening test and then I will begin going in every 2 weeks. Obviously I have a few nerves of changing everything, but I'm also excited for this as well.
        • We finally got a date locked down for one of my baby showers. So that is super exciting. I can't believe it's all starting to come together. It's not until the beginning of June, but it will be so nice to be able to take all the stuff we get back to our own home and put it away. We will also be able to start on the nursery once we move and I can really start "nesting." I have been putting it off thus far for obvious reasons and it's been killing me, but now I really have something to look forward to!
        • Today we have officially hit the 99 days left mark. We are now in the double-digits! AAhh!!
        Wow! So much going on in the next couple months. Please keep us in your prayers as we make these life transitions!

        Being a Mom

        Being a Mom
        Monday, March 28, 2011
        Read post
        Being A Mom

        We are sitting at lunch one day when my daughter casually mentions that she and her husband are thinking of "starting a family."

        "We're taking a survey," she says half-joking. "Do you think I should have a baby?"

        "It will change your life," I say, carefully keeping my tone neutral.

        "I know," she says, "no more sleeping in on weekends, no more spontaneous vacations."

        But that is not what I meant at all. I look at my Daughter, trying to decide what to tell her. I want her to know what she will never learn in childbirth classes.

        I want to tell her that the physical wounds of child bearing will heal, but becoming a mother will leave her with an emotional wound so raw that she will forever be vulnerable.

        I consider warning her that she will never again read a newspaper without asking, "What if that had been MY child?" That every plane crash, every house fire will haunt her. That when she sees pictures of starving children, she will wonder if anything could be worse than watching your child die.

        I look at her carefully manicured nails and stylish suit and think that no matter how sophisticated she is, becoming a mother will reduce her to the primitive level of a bear protecting her cub. That an urgent call of "Mom!" will cause her to drop a souffle or her best crystal without a moments hesitation.

        I feel that I should warn her that no matter how many years she has invested in her career, she will be professionally derailed by motherhood. She might arrange for child care, but one day she will be going into an important business meeting and she will think of her baby's sweet smell. She will have to use every ounce of discipline to keep from running home, just to make sure her baby is all right.

        I want my daughter to know that every day decisions will no longer be routine. That a five year old boy's desire to go to the men's room rather than the women's at McDonald's will become a major dilemma. That right there, in the midst of clattering trays and screaming children, issues of independence and gender identity will be weighed against the prospect that a child molester may be lurking in that restroom.

        However decisive she may be at the office, she will second-guess herself constantly as a mother.

        Looking at my attractive daughter, I want to assure her that eventually she will shed the pounds of pregnancy, but she will never feel the same about herself.

        That her life, now so important, will be of less value to her once she has a child. That she would give herself up in a moment to save her offspring, but will also begin to hope for more years, not to accomplish her own dreams, but to watch her child accomplish theirs. I want her to know that a cesarean scar or shiny stretch marks will become badges of honor. My daughter's relationship with her husband will change, but not in the way she thinks.

        I wish she could understand how much more you can love a man who is careful to powder the baby or who never hesitates to play with his child. I think she should know that she will fall in love with him again for reasons she would now find very unromantic.

        I wish my daughter could sense the bond she will feel with women throughout history who have tried to stop war, prejudice and drunk driving.

        I want to describe to my daughter the exhilaration of seeing your child learn to ride a bike. I want to capture for her the belly laugh of a baby who is touching the soft fur of a dog or cat for the first time. I want her to taste the joy that is so real it actually hurts.

        My daughter's quizzical look makes me realize that tears have formed in my eyes. "You'll never regret it," I finally say.

        Then I reached across the table, squeezed my daughter's hand and offered a silent prayer for her, and for me, and for all the mere mortal women who stumble their way into this most wonderful of callings.

        Please share this with a Mom that you know or friends who may someday be Moms. May you always have in your arms the one who is in your heart.

        HOW BIG IS BABY?

        Baby's now the size of an eggplant!

        I have noticed that I am warmer than usual. I am normally a chilly person, always needing a sweatshirt or cover-up of some sort, but lately I find that I am OK with just a t-shirt, even in winter.
           I have not experienced any carpal tunnel thus far, but I have 15 weeks left, so we will see.

        The extra hair will fall out? That's great news. One more thing to look forward to I guess.
        It is definitely taking me longer to get from point A to point B. Even a simple thing as rolling over in bed or sitting up has become a task. I keep telling myself that my belly is not even that big as to what it will be in just a matter of a couple months.
        I have my glucose screening test set for Friday, 4/8/2011. I will be 27 weeks. I'm not looking forward to drinking that little clear bottle of solution.

        So a few weeks ago, and really throughout this whole blog I often talk about different girlfriends of mine. I just wanted to share a little bit of my history with each one. I'll start with the girls from my wedding. They are my best friends.

        Kayla

        This is us at my wedding in 2006. She was my MOH.

        This is us at Kayla's wedding this past summer (2010).

        We have known each other literally our whole lives. Our 4 parents grew up together in the same small town, my Dad and her Mom graduated the same year we were born (1983) and our Mom's were pregnant at the same time and faced the wrath of small town teenage pregnancy together.

        We are about a month and a half apart and even have baby pictures together. Our 2 families ended up living and growing up within a mile from each other in Eden Prairie, so we went to school together. I know no matter what life brings me she has my back. She is more like a sister to me than a friend really.

        This was me and her daughter Briana, who was 3 at the time of my wedding and my flower girl.

        This was her and I last summer on rehearsal night of Kayla's wedding. She's now 8.

        Imagine our surprise to find out that we are both pregnant at the same time! She is 2 weeks behind me and as this is her second, she's been a great source of information for me to bounce different things off of her and ask questions. I'm so excited to have our kids be so close in age and look forward to the many birthday parties and gatherings to come.

        Wendy

        Photobucket

        This is Wendy and I at our friend Adam's wedding last fall. We have been best friends since 3rd grade when my family moved to Eden Prairie just a few blocks away from Wendy's family. We rode the same bus all through school and she had a pool in her back yard...you know where our summers were spent. Wink wink! We fortunately dated in the same circle of boys in high school which afforded us to do a lot of fun things together!

        Even though a few years ago, she moved to Kansas with her high-school sweetheart, we have managed to stay the best of friends keeping each other in the loop of our lifes happenings and since she has family still here in Minnesota, we try and get together each time she comes home (which isn't often enough I might add).

        Anne

        Photobucket

        This is me and Anne last summer (2010) at Target Field. We grew to be best friends in High School putting together fondue parties, making chocolate chip pancakes, as well as many other crazy fun times and inside jokes. After high school she moved away to college (Iowa) and then moved FARTHER away to grad school (Alabama), but we have managed to stay friends through the distance and now as we both prepare to become first time mothers to our daughters (yes, she is also having a girl) our friendship has grown even more. She has also been such a great source of information as she is 4 weeks ahead of me and keeps me in the loop as to what I can expect pregnancy wise. I look forward to our daughters playing with each other and becoming life-long friends!

        Laura

        Photobucket

        This is Laura and I just this past January at her baby shower. I met Laura when Wayne and I started dating because she was married to one of Wayne's friends. We became close and even though they are not married anymore we have continued our friendship. We talk often and meet for dinners to catch up. She just had her third baby boy, Benjamin in February and as it was her third, I have gone to her with many a pregnancy questions and I'm sure there will be a lot more baby rearing questions for this Veteran Mama in the future. She is getting married again in September and I am honored to stand up with her as she marries her sweetie Scott.

        Nicole

        Photobucket

        This is one of my favorite pictures of Nicole and I. This was at my wedding in 2006. She is my closest girl cousin and I was so happy she could be a part of my wedding. We obviously have known each other our whole lives and have wWAY too many memories to share. One thing we do love is Edward and the Twilight series.

        Jenny a/k/a Lemonhead

        This is us the morning of Jenny's wedding in September 2010. We have a ton of pictures together, but this is one of my favorites. We were friends in high school, but lost touch after that as she graduated a year behind me. In early 2007, a few months after my birthday, we found each other on myspace. Haha. Ever since then it has been like we never skipped a beat. She is my #1 concert buddy and we have so much in common its ridiculous!

        Beth

        This is Beth and I at a Twins game last April. Even though Beth is actually my second cousin, I call her my cousin and she is more like a friend than anything. We both have a love for the Twins and NKOTB!

        That's a little bit about my favorite ladies.

        (24 weeks)
        Here is me and Lil D this week:

        Photobucket

        Maternity Clothes: I have officially started wearing maternity pants. I had purchased 2 bella bands, which were getting a little uncomfortable holding up ok , but now that I know how comfortable maternity pants are, I think I would have skipped the Bella Bands all together and went straight to maternity pants.

        Sleep: Everyday and week is different depending on what I have going on. This week has been hard with daylight savings time and I have been busy with different things. I have been waking up in the middle of the night a few nights the past couple of weeks for 1-2 hours at a time. Those days are worse and it ends up catching up with me eventually.

        Best Moment of the Week: Figuring out that maternity pants are HEAVEN!

        Movement: I have been feeling her move A LOT. More and more every day and week. I have noticed that she is a lot more active after I eat.

        Food Craving: I have definitely gotten some of my appetite back. I am open to more foods and they actually sound appealing. I still like my popsicles/icees though.

        Food Aversions: Green Grandma made corn beef and cabbage in the crock-pot last week and the smell made me really nauseous, but other than that I have been really good.

        Morning Sickness: None.

        Gender: It's a girl! Read that post HERE.

        Symptoms: Flatulence and constipation are the major two that continue to stick with me.

        What I miss: Bending over and putting on shoes without a hassle. I know it's only going to get worse.

        What I'm looking forward to: Finishing up our registry, setting baby shower dates and finding a place of our own just to name a few.
