Today is my Dad's birthday. We had dinner at Birdtown in Robbinsdale. They have great food, are affordable and so family friendly. We all love it. Even little miss H as you can see loves her grilled cheese and french fries. Oh the simple pleasures in life.

We took Hailey to visit Santa. I thought she was going to be OK, with no tears.
Wrong. There were tears. My favorite is the picture in the middle. Sheer panic. Am I horrible for laughing?

In all my spare time (haha), I had been packing up for our move. We met the owner of our new rental house tonight and got the keys! We were so excited to get going.

Moving Day 1: We borrowed Wayne's cousins trailer and then had a bunch of vehicles.

Moving Day 2
We just had to move a few more things from the old house to the new and just did some cleaning at the old place. It was a very long two days, but we were excited about our new home. The first thing I did was put up our Christmas tree. It was starting to feel more like home as soon as it was up.

We did Christmas with just my immediate family. We had a spaghetti dinner, opened presents, then had desert. It took awhile for Hailey to get into the gift opening.

Santa was going to be at Birdtown that evening, so we decided to have dinner there and see if Hailey's second experience with Santa would be different than her first. It was. She didn't cry, but was still VERY nervous.

Wayne had to work the morning of Christmas Eve, so after he got home at about noon, we headed out to my hometown, Clara City, for Christmas with my Mom's side. We went to church, had dinner at my Aunt's house with the whole fam and then drove home late that night. It was so great to spend time with my Grandma who I don't get to see all that much.

Since we got home so late the night before, we took our time getting ready. We headed over to Wayne's side family Christmas. We usually always spend Christmas Day with his Mom and family. We ate delicious food, opened presents and had lots of laughs.

New Years Eve. I worked for part of the day and then I decided to go with Wayne to Babe's that night, so we went and had dinner at my parents house. They always do a surf n turf meal. So yummy!! Hailey stayed with them over night, and I went with the Hubby and met up with Beth & Josh. It was a low-key night, but super fun to catch up with a couple of my favorites!
