Our 2 and a half year old has been pushing my buttons this week and I am so over it. Seriously, it happened over night and I am wondering what I can blame it on. I NEED something to blame it on, cause I don't want to admit that this is her new attitude. It better not be, or you can come visit me in the loony bin very soon.
Right now she seems to be doing it only to me and maybe a little bit at school, but it's a long list of screaming, whining, spitting, scratching, running away from me if we need to get dressed, etc., telling me no (basically being Ms. Bossy-pants) and then if she cries, she cries for "Daddy." Who, by the way works evenings and is not home. She knows he's not home, but does that stop her. No. No it does not. I feel like I am always fighting with her or arguing with her and I hate it. I hate the way it makes me feel and I am sure she doesn't like it either. I'm trying to take it one day at a time. I know that's all I can do, right?
I posted this on Instagram, too, and I got way more responses saying I wasn't alone than I was expecting. YES! More Mom's out there that are ready to pull their hair out on a nightly bases. I'm hoping it's just a phase, or a super hormonal week, or something and I will soon have my super sweet little girl back.
I mean really? {Heart melts}

I just posted how Aubrey has been a terror recently... It's that age I am afraid!
I'm no expert so I can't say for sure, but I think a lot of times kids do this because they're testing their boundaries. Especially at this age when they're really starting to learn that they're their own person. It WILL pass. Hopefully soon :)
