September was the start of fall for us which always means things slow down. I, for one, was looking forward to things slowing down a bit.

My sister Amie, joined Trajectories at school and was in a short play. So Kate and I went to watch and support her.

The short play was based off the Hunger Games. It was a funny twist on the book and Amie did such a great job.

I had my cousin, Tara's bachelorette party this night. I had so much fun and drank a wee bit (too much).

We started out at friend's house with apps and games.

This is me with Tara's older sister, Nicole, who is also getting married in April. I am a bridesmaid in her wedding and am so excited!

After some fun at the house, we went out to dinner at Cocina Del Barrio.

After dinner, while waiting for our limo to arrive we enjoyed some drinks shots.

If you can't tell, we had so much fun in the limo.

We headed downtown and played Jenga at Pourhouse.

I had so much fun and made some great new friends!

I went with my friend Falen to a painting class. I had never done something like this before and I really enjoyed it a lot.

We were going to paint 2 canvases. These were the examples that they had displayed on the wall.

What was fun is that it was at a little coffee shop in Burnsville that also served wine and food. So not only was it fun painting with friends and trying something new,but we had great food and wine with it. I would definitely do something like that again.

Today we had Tara's bridal shower. It was some of the same girls from the bach party, along with other friends and family members. We broke into groups and made veils with craft items.

My team's won!! We made a W (her initial) on the back with pink lace with some other embellishments.

We then had a delicious brunch and watched as the bride opened up all her lovely gifts. It was a perfect way to end the month and I was looking forward to her wedding in October.

The D Family LOVES fair time. While Wayne was at the fair 11 out of the 12 days, Hailey and I went just three times.That might sound like a lot to some people, but for us it's about average. And while he works, we usually play!

This year KDWB had a new booth (Good Bye Boombox) and they also had a new location by the Grandstand.

We love going and visiting Daddy at the fair, cause then that means we can eat fun stuff, too. Here we are enjoying a Fudge Puppy.

Sweet Martha's Cookies are always a must have on my list at least once a year.

One of the new things this year was a red-velvet funnel cake and of course I had to try it. I didn't get a picture of it, cause honestly I think I ate it too fast. It was SO delicious! I will definitely be having that again this year.

This year one of the times we went with my family. It was a warm one, but so much fun. Here is Papa pushing Hailey in her stroller.

Of course, with Papa in tow, we had to check out the mini 4-wheelers.

We watched a horse show.

And loved it.

1. I'm Loving this newer artist...Olly Murs. He was in the KDWB Skyroom at the beginning of February.

3. I'm Loving my new mascara that I purchased recently.

4. I'm Loving that this little girl is sitting on the potty more and more everyday. Going both 1 and 2 by the way. So pumped!!

5. I'm Loving these cute boots I picked up for Hailey. You can never go wrong with black sequins.

6. I'm Loving this Puma track suit that Hailey got for a late Christmas present from The Hortons. It's so adorable!

7. I'm Loving my new workout tops and our new gym membership. I've been more motivated lately not only with going to the gym and working out, but with what I am eating & drinking. I'm also Loving Zumba classes.

8. I'm Loving the way I am feeling lately. I recently gave up having Caribou Coffee on a daily basis and I have to tell you I am feeling a lot better. I feel like I have more energy and I think with drinking more water and working out only a couple times a week is helping too.  It's only been 2 weeks today, but I'm Loving it!

9. I'm Loving my Eric Condren Life Planner that I received last week and have gotten so many compliments on it.

10. I'm Loving this little girl and the man I made her with. They just light up my life!

That's right. We got a new car! We just upgraded my vehicle last January of 2012 and now we upgraded the Husband's. It was much needed and he deserved to get something nice. We chose a 2010 Ford Edge 4dr SEL AWD SUV. We've had it for a couple weeks now and LOVE it.

Our other favorite feature is the dual sun roof! Can't wait for summer to open that bad boy!

Friday August 3 - 5, 2012

My cousin was getting married this weekend and I was the photographer, so we decided to make the trek up to Grand Forks on Friday in time for me to be at the Rehearsal and Grooms Dinner that night. The wedding was Saturday and then the gift opening was Sunday morning. Here are just a few photos from our weekend.

We stopped at a truck stop in Fargo and there was a life size Justin Beiber cut-out. We had to get a picture of Hailey with it.

While I was working Friday night and Saturday morning, Hailey enjoyed the waterpark with her aunts.

She danced all night at the reception and had so much fun.

This morning we met my friend Anne, her husband, Brian, and their daughter Ellie Anne for a playdate. They were in town for a family wedding, so we went to their hotel, swam in the pool and then had lunch at Big Bowl. So great letting the girls play and splash, while the adults chatted and got caught up.
