Hailey Jo {10 months}

April 26, 2012

This is you at 10 months old:

Photobucket

You're saying: "I can't believe I'm 10 months already!"

Photobucket

You wouldn't sit still for Mommy to take pictures and you wanted to pull the 10 month sticker off  the whole time.

On April 11th you went to the Dr for your 9 month check-up and...

You weighed 21 lbs 12 oz.(91%).

You were 29 inches long (87%).

Your head was 18 inches round (89%).

You are trying, eating and loving so many different foods. You name it and you've probably tried it.

You love your snacks.

Photobucket

You see Mommy and Daddy eating and you are immediately by our sides or begging for some.

You are now eating about 6 oz of milk for daytime feedings and 8 oz before bed.

You have started drinking just water out of your sippy cup.

You are still going to bed at about 9pm and sleeping until about 8am...on average.

You woke up so early one morning and fell asleep in your chair during breakfast.

Photobucket

You are walking!!

Photobucket

You are clapping when we say "Yay!"

You raise your hands when we say "So big!"

Photobucket

You love to be outside.

Photobucket

You love when Daddy pushes you in your car.

You are going after the dogs more and more now that you can walk, but they are still OK with you.

Photobucket

You have gotten so vocal and are talking and screaming all the time.

You love to watch Ellen!

You also love the cartoon "Super Why."

Photobucket

You still put everything in your mouth.

You are still drooling, but I feel not as much.

You still go through about 3-4 bibs a day.

You are always on the go.

You are Mommy's little shopper.

Photobucket

You have figured out how to climb up stairs.

Photobucket

You like to crawl into your toy bin.

Photobucket

You had a great first Easter. You can see that post HERE!

You have really started showing us your personality.

You made your TV modeling debut. You can see that HERE!

You get mad at us when we take something away from you.

You're eyes are turning hazel.

You are growing right on track, but are still our peanut.

You still love bath time, but I think you are scared when the water runs and is loud.

Photobucket

You are scared of the vacuum and the hair blow dryer.

You are now wearing mostly 12 month clothes and even a few 18 month pajamas.

Your giggle is the best thing in this entire world.

You are still wearing size three diapers.

You still have your two bottom middle teeth and two top middle teeth.

You love to make funny faces.

You are so alert and always watching people.

You are so curious.

You are just so very precious to us and we love you so much.

You are the light of our life!

Photobucket

We love you so much!

My (29th) Birthday! {2012}

My birthday was Monday, April 9th.

I turned 29.

I don't know how to feel about it.

Quite frankly with Hailey growing up and now walking (yes, she is walking and has been fully walking for about a week+), I really want time to slow down or stop for a bit.

I think I just have so many emotions going on lately, I just don't know what to feel. I've never felt bad about a birthday or about getting older, but this year was definitely bitter-sweet.

It was Easter weekend, so we spent that with our families and then Wayne and I celebrated just the two of us the next Saturday the 14th at Crave. Overall it was a great birthday. I did get a lot of really great gifts.

Row 1: Flowers from the Hubs // Coach sandals from Green Grandma

Photobucket

Row 2: Coach purse from my Boss, along with some $ // Bday cake Oreos from the Hubs

Row 3:  Apple iPad w/ pink case & Apple wireless keyboard from the Hubs

I also got $ from my parents and since my MIL babysits my Daughter for us just about everyday, I told her it wasn't necessary to get me a gift on top of all she does for us with Hailey every week.

Overall it was a great birthday, aside from the mixed emotions. I am very blessed and loved in many ways and have such great people in my life.

I think just me in general. Every person is different and is their own unique person. I think you can tell a lot about me as a person from my blog, too! So if you're new..go check it out!

30 Days of Me {Day 20}

Day 20: Someone you see yourself marrying or being with in the future

I'm already with this person...married and happy with 4 pups and the sweetest babygirl anyone could possibly hope for and I plan on being with him forever and always.

I am blessed to have him in my life and blessed that he chose me to be his wife and the Mother to his child.

I love him because he is kind.

I love him because he is smart.

I love him because he is a wonderful daddy.

I love him because he is an amazing husband.

I love him because he loves his family.

I love him because he loves my family.

I love him because he is THE funniest person I know.

I love him because he is witty.

I love him because he is not perfect, but perfect for me.

I love him because he is strong.

I love him because he helps around the house.

I love him because he is a good friend.

I love him because he is chivalrous.

I love him because he isn't afraid to try new things.

I love him because he is passionate.

I love him because he is confident.

I love him because he is so darn handsome.

I love him because he works hard.

I love him because he enjoys what he does.

I love him because he is so supportive.

I love him because he provides.

I love him because he has goals.

I love him because he sets an excellent example.

I love him because he has an amazing smile.

I love him because he makes me smile even when we're fighting.

I love him because he sends me texts all throughout the day just to say hi.

I love him because he goes out of his way for me constantly.

I love him because he makes me feel beautiful and important.

I love him because he makes sure I know he loves me, too.

I love him because he is who he is.

Photobucket

I know he reads this so: Thank you for being so wonderful and I love you.

Weekend Highlights: Hoppy Easter 2012

 Friday, April 6, 2012

I left work and met Wayne at home. We had plans to take Hailey to the mall to see the Easter Bunny. I was nervous we would have to stand in a long line with waiting until the Friday before Easter, but we didn't at all. We got right in, sat her down, she smiled a big one, the photographer snapped and then away we were. She did so great and gave THE biggest smile with no tears or sign of fear one bit.

Photobucket

Next year might be a different story.

From the mall Wayne went home because he had to get ready to head out for the night. I went to my parents house for the first bonfire of the year.

Photobucket

I ended up staying way too late. I got home and got to bed way past my bedtime. I think it was 11pm. Isn't that sad? Ugh. I'm getting old.

Saturday, April 7, 2012

Today was rainy, dark and gloomy. I took Hailey to the gym. I walked on the treadmill for a bit and read my book. Not really sure if you can call that working out, but I went. Hailey played in the Kids Stuff area with the other little ones. The rest of the day we spent some quality time just the two of us. Wayne brought home a Crunchy Roll from Crave for me for dinner. It was gone in minutes and was so yummy.

I wanted to get a movie or two watched that evening, but was still so drained from the night before that I ended up reading for a bit and then falling asleep early.

Super boring Saturday if I don't say so myself.

Sunday, April 8, 2012

Easter Sunday! We got up, Wayne did his yoga while I tended to H. We got ready and I did some things around the house before heading over to his Mom's house for Easter lunch. We ended up not eating until about 2:30pm. She made all the fixings and it was all so yummy. We skyped with Grams and wished her a Happy Easter.

Hailey's First Easter!

Photobucket

She loved her Easter Basket.

Photobucket

Who doesn't love a new outfit and some snacks!!
Photobucket

I thought this printable that I found online says everything about Easter, but while I'm not a fan of peeps or jelly beans, I am a fan of chocolate. That's about all the Easter candy I care about and I can get that year round whenever I like. We didn't color any eggs this year, nor did we do an egg hunt, but we plan to go all out next year definitely.

I love this poem that I found online:

Easter Joy

Jesus came to earth,
To show us how to live,
How to put others first,
How to love and how to give.

Then He set about His work,
That God sent Him to do;
He took our punishment on Himself;
He made us clean and new.

He could have saved Himself,
Calling angels from above,
But He chose to pay our price for sin;
He paid it out of love.

Our Lord died on Good Friday,
But the cross did not destroy
His resurrection on Easter morn
That fills our hearts with joy.

Now we know our earthly death,
Like His, is just a rest.
We'll be forever with Him
In heaven, where life is best.

So we live our lives for Jesus,
Think of Him in all we do.
Thank you Savior; Thank you Lord.
Help us love like you!

By Joanna Fuchs

I think it's so simple, but tells the story so nicely.

I hope all my family and friends near and far had a great Easter!

We then headed over to my parents house for an Easter/birthday dinner. My birthday is the 9th, so we had a delish dinner, too. We hung-out for awhile and ate strawberry shortcake before heading home way too late on a Sunday evening.

Overall it was a great weekend once again. I was disappointed that I didn't get any movies watched that weekend, which is a bummer because I am so behind on movies. There are so many out that I haven't seen yet.

Just a few on my list at the moment that I have YET to see:

Moneyball
Hugo
The Artist
My Week with Marilyn
Warhorse
J. Edgar

That's just to name a few. Some of those Wayne wants to see, too, others he could care less about and I will find time to watch them on my own.

Have you seen any of the above? How did you like them? What others do you recommend? I need to keep this list going.

Day 11: Another picture of you and your friends

Kristin, Wendy and Me

Photobucket

This was back in 2009 when me and Kristin gave a wedding shower to one of our besties, Wendy. Now as Wendy is pregnant and due in August, we are throwing her a baby shower in June! Love!

Day 12: How you found out about blogger and why you have one

I found out about Blogger and blogging from a few friends on Facebook. They blogged about their lives and their kids and with Wayne and I starting a family, I thought it was a great alternative to scrapbooking. I still do some scrapbooking, but I feel like Blogging is so much faster, easier and to be honest cheaper.

We went off the pill in April 2010 and that's when I started my blog.

I write about everything and am usually an open book. I try and keep it positive. I don't think anyone wants to read negativity.

Day 13: A letter to someone who has hurt you recently

I thought about this one a lot, trying to figure out who to write to. I don't want to write to anyone specific, because I don't want to name names, but I guess this is just more of a generalization to people.I think these 3 saying that I found on Pinterest sum it up the best:
